All actors, singers and dancers wishing to audition for this production should first attend one of these EPA/ECC Singers calls. There will be callbacks scheduled for reading, dancing and more singing at a separate time.
Please prepare a short cut (60-90 seconds) of a song from the show, or in the style of the show. Do not sing a cutting longer than 90 seconds. Please bring marked sheet music in the key in which you intend to sing. An accompanist will be provided. 5-minute audition slots.

Sky Masterson: Male Presenting, 35-50, Vocal Range B3-E5. A high-stakes gambler whose luck never seems to run out, and a wild card who surprises himself when he falls in love with the unlikeliest of women. Suave, smart. This role will require performing scenes of intimacy, including kissing.
Sarah Brown: Female Presenting, 25-35, Vocal Range B3-G5. A bright-eyed woman who serves as Sergeant of the local Mission. She fully believes in her worthy cause and wishes to convert the gambling sinners to saints. Falls unexpectedly in love with Sky along the way. This role will require performing scenes of intimacy, including kissing.
Nathan Detroit: Male Presenting, 35-50, Vocal Range D4-F5. A good-hearted gambler and craps game organizer who could never hit the big time. He loves Adelaide but cannot quit his gambling habit to settle down. He is charming and funny. This role may require performing scenes of intimacy, including kissing.
Miss Adelaide: Female Presenting, 25-40, Vocal Range A3-E5. Nathan’s fiancé and a lead performer at the Hot Box nightclub. She loves Nathan more than anything in the world and desperately wants to get married. Outspoken, strong; great singer, dancer and comedian. We are specifically interested in exploring a non-traditional take on the character. This role may require performing scenes of intimacy, including kissing.
Nicely-Nicely Johnson: Male Presenting, 30-45, Vocal Range D4-B5. Just like his name suggests, he is the nicest and cheeriest of the gambling crooks. High-spirited and a bit naïve, but sincere and genuine. Nathan's loyal friend.
Benny Southstreet: Male Presenting, 30-45, Vocal Range D4-G5. Nathan’s right-hand man and a gambler himself. Smart, slick, always moving and shaking, but with what he thinks are Nathan's best interests at heart.
Arvide Abernathy: Male Presenting, 50-65, Vocal Range D4-F5. The bass drum and cymbal player in the Mission band, he is Sarah's loving grandfather. Wise and sweet, he wants nothing but the best for her.
Harry The Horse: Male Presenting, 35-55, Vocal Range F3-G5. A crook and gambler. He is a tough guy with dollar signs as his bottom line. Brings Big Jule into Nathan's craps game and backs his cheating but is also a man of his word in the gambling community.
Lt. Brannigan: Male Presenting, 40-55. A New York police officer who is on to Nathan's illegal craps games and is dead set on catching him. A tough, no-nonsense character.
Big Jule: Male Presenting, 30-60, Vocal Range F3-G5. A big-time craps player from Chicago who uses a gun and his own pair of rigged dice to bully his way into never losing. Tough looking.
Ensemble: Mission Band (Agatha, Calvin, Martha), Crap Shooters (Liver Lips Louie, Angie The Ox, Rusty Charlie and others), Hot Box Girls, Waiters, Havana Dancers and others. Principal Understudies will be cast from this group. Off-stage singing will be required.
Swings: Off-Stage, but On-Site actors that cover the ensemble and potentially principal roles in the show. Off-stage singing will be required.
