Please share two contrasting monologues: one Shakespeare, and the second a contrasting classical or heightened-language piece from any period. Dialects are not required for initial submissions but may be requested at callbacks. This season will feature acoustic music by actors. Those wishing to share their musical talents may optionally prepare 16 bars of music from any cultural tradition; musical theater selections are also welcome. If you are able to self-accompany on a portable instrument, please do so. Actors who choose to sing may also bring recorded accompaniment. A Bluetooth speaker will be available in the room. All material should fit within a 3-minute time period. The second monologue may be omitted if you are submitting a musical selection.
Please provide a headshot and resume. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.
