SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in DANCE NATION (see breakdown). Local DFW actors are encouraged to audition.

Performers of all genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

NOTE

This is a Co-Production with The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Theatre Arts. Initial rehearsals for this show will take place at The University of Texas at Arlington Campus, but all spacing and tech rehearsals and performances will take place solely at Second Thought Theatre. This show will not travel.

If unable to attend the auditions in person, please email a video submission of the sides you are auditioning for to the email above. Video should consist of a slate and sides. Please use a reader if available, and include a headshot and resume via email submission. Deadline: Saturday, May 9th by 9 PM CT.

NOTE: All characters except Dance Teacher Pat and The Moms are between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. There is no need for any of the actors to resemble teenagers.

• VANESSA (CAST): could have been a phenomenon
