SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in Children's Theatre Company's 2026–27 Season (see breakdown). An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Synopsis: Storyteller Ellen enchants the audience with vignettes of growing up with her beloved father and her relationship to the twelve kinds of ice that emerge over the winter — from the first ice of the season to icy panes of glass, thick ice, and eventually skating ice. This cozy wintertime story has Ellen revisiting her youth as a means to find a cathartic end to her story.

Until, that is, the smallest of the Whos, tiny Cindy Lou, extends a hand. Through kindness and community, we witness a change in Who-history and in the size and capacity of the old green guy’s heart.

Synopsis: It’s 1980 and Minnesota dairy farmers are struggling. The Berglund family is no exception. Middle daughter Sadie Jane prepares to compete in the annual Princess Kay of the Milky Way competition to keep the family legacy of Dairy Princesses strong. Eldest son Emmett Dean aspires to be a singer-songwriter comparable to Johnny Cash, and youngest daughter Eugenia Marie has her sights set on the stars — the actual Milky Way. When a mysterious intergalactic visitor crash-lands in the Berglunds’ barn just days before they travel to the Great Minnesota Get Together (the Minnesota State Fair), the siblings must work together to get their new companion back home without alerting their preoccupied parents or fellow fair-goers.
