9:30 AM – Equity female singers who dance EXTREMELY well 250 West 54th Street, 11th Floor

10:30 AM – Equity female dancers who sing VERY well New York City

2 PM – Equity male singers who dance EXTREMELY well

3 PM – Equity male dancers who sing VERY well

Singers: Please prepare 16 bars of an appropriate, standard Broadway song. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose. Some may be asked by casting personnel to attend the dance call for their gender. Please be prepared to attend the dancers’ ECC for your gender, which immediately follows the singers’ ECC. Bring tap and jazz shoes.

Dancers: Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Tap and jazz shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of an appropriate, standard Broadway song. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

All: Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Seeking Ensemble (M/F):

Characters are 20s-30s, all ethnicities. Seeking dancers who sing very well. Seeking stylish dancers with excellent jazz and tap skills and infectious personalities. Must be strong dancer/singers. This production is being done with a cast of 18. PLEASE NOTE: ALL CAST MEMBERS WILL DANCE AND MUST HAVE STRONG TAP SKILLS. Comedy/improvisation skills a plus. Smaller characters will come out of the ensemble. Chorus parts include

The Follies Girls:

Mitzi:

20s. Stunning, statuesque chorine. Terrific singer and dancer (taps!).

Susie:

20s. Spunky chorine from Brooklyn. Terrific singer and dancer (taps!).

Betsy:

Early/mid 30s. The “girl next door” with legs for days. Terrific singer and dancer (taps!).

The Cowboys:

Mingo:

20s/30s. Our cowboy from “south of the border”. Part of the “Rhythm Kings” vocal trio. Terrific singer and dancer (taps) – acro a plus.

Sam:

20s/30s. Our very tall, or very short, or very round cowboy…a fun physical type. Part of the “Rhythm Kings” vocal trio. Terrific singer and dancer (taps) – acro a plus.

Moose / Chauffeur:

Moose: 20s/30s. The name says it all. Part of the “Rhythm Kings” vocal trio. Terrific singer and dancer (taps) – acro a plus. Chauffeur: Child family’s long-serving chauffeur.

Custus / Perkins:

Custus: 20s/30s. Even by the slowish standards of Deadrock, Custus is s-l-o-w. Terrific singer and dancer (taps) – acro a plus. Perkins: Mrs. Child’s officious and fawning New York assistant.

Harry / Eugene Fodor:

Harry: 30s. Bartender at Lank’s Saloon…the only cowboy in Deadrock with a subscription to “Variety”…a good old boy with show biz aspirations. Terrific singer and dancer (taps) – acro a plus. Eugene: Male half of our “chirpy” English couple…like his wife, he is a tireless, adventurous and affable traveler…always ready to slap a chap on the back and cheerfully tell him to “buck up!!” Comic character actor with fun upper crust British accent…Edward Everett Horton in Nevada.
