Our musical story, accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer organ, explores how Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy British businessman in 19th century Londontown, overlooks the marginalized & impoverished characters in the community — especially his employee, Bob Cratchit. Through the visits of Scrooge’s deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, our protagonist recognizes the ways his obsessive “pursuit of wealth” not only harms those who love(d) him, but that this path has potentially fatal consequences for some of the neediest and some of the youngest he has long ignored. Ebenezer Scrooge transforms into a compassionate, charitable, good human.
