BREAKDOWN

9 TO 5

SEEKING:

[FRANKLIN HART JR.] One of Consolidated’s top executives and a notorious chauvinist; mid to late 40s. Athletic and intensely masculine. He is capable of faking charm, but usually shows his true colors as a lying, sexist, egotistical, bigot. Should sing well. Bari-Tenor.

[VIOLET NEWSTEAD] Consolidated’s Head Secretary and Mr. Hart’s Administrative Assistant; mid to late 40s. Attractive, strong, and ambitious. Intelligent with a wry sense of humor. Mezzo-Soprano. Should move very well.

[DORALEE RHODES] Hart’s young and very attractive personal secretary; mid 20s-30s. A sexy Southern Mountain spitfire who is living proof that there is more to a woman than just her looks. Should move well and be very comfortable in Country-Western vocal styles. Soprano.

[JUDY BERNLY] The “new” girl at the firm; mid-30s. Charmingly naïve and searching for personal empowerment. Recently separated, she is insecure but determined and hopeful. Should move extremely well, dance skills a plus. Soprano with a strong mix.

[ROZ KEITH] The hyper-annoying office gossip queen and snitch; mid to late 40s. She has a deep unrequited love for Mr. Hart and will do anything to win his approval. Comic skills a plus. Should move and sing well. Soprano.
