Following its triumphant run earlier this summer, THE FIX-UP SHOW, hosted by J.Keith van Straaten (Comedy Central's "Beat The Geeks," "What's My Line? - Live On Stage") announces six additionAl Weeks at the Triad (158 West 72nd Street, 2nd floor), every Saturday night beginning August 7th through September 11th. Please note performances are on a new night and time having moved from Thursday to Saturday evenings.

THE FIX-UP SHOW brings together a panel of three people-two who know an eligible single well, and one celebrity who has never met the person-and has them interrogate potential suitors in an effort to make a match. Previous celebrity panelists include Scott Adsit, Dick Cavett, Frank DeCaro, Joe Franklin, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Musto and Michael Riedel.

"It's simply comedy... Van Straaten's genuinely friendly demeanor fed the show's breezy atmosphere..."- TIME OUT NEW YORK

Popular morning anchor for NY1 and founder of news resource Patspapers.com, Pat Kiernan, will kick off THE FIX-UP SHOW on its new night at the Triad on Saturday, August 7th at 7pm, as the celebrity guest panelist helping a New York single to find love. Emmy-award winning comedienne Judy Gold (HBO, Comedy Central, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother) will join THE FIX-UP SHOW for the final performance on September 11th, at a special time, 9pm.

In addition, upcoming celebrity guest panelists joining THE FIX-UP SHOW on its new night and time are:

Michael Ian Black (VH1's "I Love the..."series, NBC's "Ed," MTV's "The State"), Craig Bierko ("Boston Legal", "Damages", "Sex and the City", The Long Kiss Goodnight, Cinderella Man, Broadway credits include, The Music Man, Guys n' Dolls), David Lindsay-Abaire (Pulitzer-winning playwright, Rabbit Hole, Shrek the Musical) and Casey Wilson ("Saturday Night Live," Bride Wars, and Killers).

Unlike other dating shows over the past 30 years, THE FIX-UP SHOW promises civility, with no humiliation, objectifying, drunken seduction or having to eat bugs to prove one's affection. It's a dating show where the participants have an actual chance of finding a good date. It's real, spontaneous and fun, the kind of show you could bring your mom to...or fix her up on. Old or young, gay or straight, all are given a chance to find love on THE FIX-UP SHOW.

Host/Producer J. Keith van Straaten last appeared on the New York stage on "What's My Line? - Live on Stage," with celebrity guests including Moby, Larry King, Fred Armissen, David Cross, Edward Albee, John Oliver and George Wendt. He hosted Comedy Central's TV game show "Beat The Geeks" and is often seen commenting on crazy TV clips on E! Entertainment Television. His essays on dating and New York have appeared in The Jewish Journal, Tango, and Backstage. And he's single! More at www.jkeith.net.
