Singer and Actress Corinna Sowers-Adler Debuts at 54 Below Tonight

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Corinna Sowers-Adler in "By Request - New York Moments" tonight, May 6, 2014 at 9:30pm. In her 54 BELOW debut, Corinna continues the "By Request" series with a very special show including songs and the memories and special moments behind why that song has been inspirational or life changing, all containing the theme of New York City.

Corinna takes the requested songs and stories and creates a unique and heart warming show. Songs to include works by Billy Joel, Stephen Sondheim, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Schwartz and many others.
Joe Regan, Jr. of Times Square Chronicles adds, "Sowers-Adler used her reedy soprano judiciously, never sacrificing the meaning of the lyrics for vocal pyrotechnics (she is capable of Yma Sumac high notes). They were sung with passion and beauty and she left her audience wanting more."

Corinna Sowers-Adler is the latest voice of the American Songbook and was nominated for Best Female Vocalist in the 2012 BroadwayWorld Awards. She has booked and performed her solo shows to rave reviews at The Metropolitan Room, Stage 72 at the Triad, the Duplex, Feinstein's at Loews Regency and is the host of the critically-acclaimed, MAC Award-nominated "Music at the Mansion" series. Corinna recently made her Jazz at Lincoln Center debut at the 2013 Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention.

Corinna will be joined on stage by Musical Director, Markus Hauck with Colleen Clark on Drums and Christian Fabian on Bass.
