Shoshana Bean to Headline Cabaret at The Merc, 5/18

Cabaret at The Merc in association with Temecula Presents has announced a one night only concert by Broadway's own, Shoshana Bean. Sunday, May 18 at 7:30pm, Shoshana will take the Old Town Temecula Theater Stage for the first time with a concert from her recent album O'Farrell Street!

Shoshana Bean is singing in her own lane with the release of her sophomore album O'Farrell Street. Her unique take on vintage soul music of the late 1960's draws inspiration from artists like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Sam Cooke, and earned her a #3 spot on the iTunes R&B charts. Expect an energetic, soulful, moving evening as you clap your hands and sing along to classic favorites and instantly fall in love with her nostalgic and refreshing originals!

Shortly after moving to New York City, she was cast in the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell. She was also an original cast member in the Tony Award-winning production of Broadway's Hairspray, originating the role of Shelley. She was then cast in the Broadway production of Wicked. Bean also
reprised the role of Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked for a brief run in the fall of 2006. In 2009, she joined the cast of Peep Show in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood.
