No Name kicks off their monthly Uptown Cabaret Spotlight series at popular Inwood restaurant The Indian Road Café tonight, June 21st @ 8pm with composer, lyricist, playwright (& Inwood resident) Joshua H. Cohen. According to NN producer Eric Vetter, the Spotlight show will typically focus on the work of a single composer or artist.

Cohen - a 2011 Jonathan Larson Award winner and 2010 MAC Award nominee - has had his work performed at venues throughout New York City including The Duplex, New York Theatre Barn, The Laurie Beechman Theatre and as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. The evening’s performance is themed “Companion Pieces: Romances, Duets and Songs That Go Together” and will feature pianist / accompanist Cody Waymore.

Indian Road Café, located at 600 West 218th Street, offers an excellent wine, beer and coffee selection as well as great food from paninis to lobster mac and cheese, all amidst a warm and casual atmosphere.
