Broadway sensation N'Kenge makes her encore performance at Culture Connection / Queens Library with a special Thanksgiving concert for music lovers everywhere.

Enjoy familiar tunes from Southern spirituals to Whitney Houston hits, as well as songs set to the poetry of Langston Hughes, Motown classics, and more. N'Kenge will be joined by music director and ASCAP award-winner Charles Duke.

N'Kenge is an artist who's destined to make a serious impact on several musical fronts. She has performed at the White House, where she sang for President Bill Clinton and for the Commander-in-Chief Ball for President Obama, London's West End at Theatre Royal in a tribute to Ray Charles, solo engagements in New York at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center, and even a worldwide broadcast by NPR from the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. Charles Duke is an award-winning songwriter, music director, classically trained pianist, arranger, singer and composer residing in Harlem. His work fuses jazz, soul, pop, and classical elements with engaging lyrical imagery. He has performed at the Lincoln Center and has held residencies throughout Manhattan.
