After a critically acclaimed run of her solo show Maxine Linehan: Beautiful Songs, about which Stephen Holden of The New York Times described Maxine as "fiercely talented", she will next present an encore performance of What Would Petula Do? The show will be part of the 2015 Wayne YMCA Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 9th at The Rosen Performing Arts Center in Wayne, New Jersey (1 Pike Drive Wayne, NJ. 07470). The show's director is Scott Siegel (Creator, Writer, Director and Host of The Town Hall's Broadway By The Year series and Writer, Director and Producer of Michael Feinstein's concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center) with musical direction by Ryan Shirar. Tickets are $15 and are available at metroymcas.org or by calling 973-595-0100.

What Would Petula Do? is a nightclub act where you can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares. In 75 minutes, the show exuberantly follows the course of Petula Clark's extraordinary career from her early, popular recordings in the 1940s, through her mega-stardom in the 1960s, to her award-winning performances in film and on Broadway right up to the 1990s.

Maxine made her professional debut with The Irish Operatic Repertory Company at age 17. Notable roles throughout the years have included: Polly in Crazy for You, Nancy in Oliver!, Maria in The Sound of Music, Emma in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tell Me On A Sunday, Laura in the American premiere of the award winning Irish play The Mushroom Pickers and The Lead Nurse in the first national touring company of Lincoln Center's TONY award winning South Pacific. Maxine then produced and starred in the critically acclaimed, off-Broadway production of Brontë A Portrait of Charlotte. In 2014, Maxine performed her solo show An American Journey at Birdland and Terminus Recording Studios in Times Square, which led to her first live studio album. Most recently, Maxine performed a sold out run of her solo shows Beautiful Songs at the Metropolitan Room in New York City and released her third album, Beautiful Songs.
