JJ Caruncho joins the cast of DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) Volume 7 at Feinstein's/54 Below on April 12th!

Favorite credits include Into The Woods (The Baker) across from Tituss Burgess as The Witch and Arielle Jacobs as The Bakers Wife, In the Heights (Usnavi) across from Arielle Jacobs, Hamlet (Hamlet) in the UK. As a singer he has sung at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Jazz at Lincoln Center on tour with jazz legend Wynton Marsalis and will soon be making his Lincoln Center debut. He is the writer of the one woman show "A Leap In The Dark" based on the life story of, and starring, Arielle Jacobs, which was turned into an album. JJ has traveled the world directing the show & conducting the orchestras that play it. He also does lots of other fun stuff.

Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing one performer with their Broadway/NYC Idol - someone who has inspired them to join, and/or stay, in this crazy world of show business.

Todd Hulet music directs.

Caruncho joins a cast that features Allie Couture, Aneesa Folds, Daniel Gonon, Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill, Anastasia, Dog Fight), Megan Jane McGuinness, Jessica Mortellaro, Samantha Rhea Parrish, Katie Thompson (Giant, R.R.R.E.D) - with additional cast members soon to be announced!
