Hudson Oliver and Osa World Appear in BURN At 54 Below

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Burn on January 19, 2019 at 11:30pm. Have you ever been moved by a live concert in a way that you feel goosebumps? Burn is supposed to do just that. It will make you laugh and cry by touching your heart and soul. Join award winning actor/singer/dancer Hudson Oliver and Electronic Soul artist/ ballroom dance champion Osa World as they take you on a thrilling theatrical voyage with original music from the album Burn.
The album Burn features songs that were written over many years and all hold deep personal meanings to Hudson Oliver. The songs are also universal in their inspirational and empowering messages. The album includes Hudson's first love ballads such as "Disculpame" and "I Just Wanna Be With You." In the song entitled "Balance" Hudson creates a unique fusion of Salsa, Samba and Flamenco. The was song was written as an anthem to unify different cultures. One of the most powerful songs on the album and in the show is "Ave Maria," a heartfelt ballad written for his Mom who passed away in 2008. The show will also include a song written with Osa World, "One Step at a Time", a new single created exclusively for this show.

Hudson Oliver, originally from Brazil started performing on television at 9 years-old. He studied music and dance at the Metropolitan Opera House and was a soloist in Messiah and Carmina Burana. Winner of awards and nominations for best actor and dancer by SATED (Brazil's equivalent of SAG-AFTRA), Hudson ventured to America, 18 years ago, with a grant to study musical theatre at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute. He became a corporate DJ/MC for companies such as L'Or al and Pepsi. He has participated in a few reoccurring voice-over roles, including providing the voice for the character of the Portuguese/Brazilian version of Bugs Bunny, amongst many others. He has taught music at NYC Public Schools and currently teaches Ballroom Dance at Arthur Murray. Hudson has toured the US and the world performing in plays, musicals, television, and film. Most recently, he combined all of his talents to release his much-anticipated album, Burn, which is an exciting mix of pop dance beats with Brazilian flair.

OSA WORLD
Studied music in London ICMP Institute and in Moscow Jazz College. Has made an appearance at the TV show X factor and The Voice. She is also a professional Ballroom Dance Champion.
