Emily Bergl is best known for her role on "Desperate Housewives," but last year she burst onto the cabaret scene with a sold out run at the Algonquin Hotel, receiving raves from The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg News. Her brand new show, "NY I Love You" will premiere at New York's historic Cafe Carlyle May 01-12, 2012.

"NY I Love You" is an evening of song and stories that explores a life-long love affair with the Big Apple and all the characters that call Manhattan home. Audiences are transported to the city that never sleeps, with classic tunes from Rodgers and Hart to Gus Kahn, and sly reinventions of modern pop from The Beach Boys to Cyndi Lauper. "Cabaret is about celebrating all the aspects of love," explains Ms. Bergl, "and the longest, most passionate affair of my life has been with the city of New York”.

Emily Bergl will perform at the Café Carlyle, 35 E 76th St, New York, NY.  For reservations, call 212.744.1600
