Colorful Characters Abound in Stephen Mosher's Musical Cabaret THE STORY TELLER

Celebrity photographer Stephen Mosher's outrageous experiences come to life in story and song as he shares the adventures he and his colorful family have experienced in a raucous roller coaster ride, "The Story Teller" playing four encore performances at Don't Tell Mama on April 19 and 22, and May 1 and 7 at 7:00 p.m. From photographing the likes of Maggie Smith and Sarah Jessica Parker for his publication The Sweater Book to marrying the same man 8 times in the documentary film "Married And Counting", Mosher's philosophy of devouring life takes center stage.

In this encore presentation of his sold-out debut of "The Story Teller" in 2017, Mosher perfectly pairs a treasure trove of stories with the songs of Elton John, Cole Porter, Harry Nilsson, Noel Coward, and many more. In his soul-baring 70 minute show, Mosher regales tales of his Grandparent's associations with Old Hollywood, his parents' work as circus performers and his quest for success as an artist, a Gay Rights Activist and a man with a will to live life to the fullest.

Says Mosher, "I've always been a storyteller, in whatever format the opportunity presents itself. It is by sharing our stories that we see inside of each other, and by hearing our histories that we see inside of ourselves. Almost every day there's a new story happening right in front of you, or happening to you. I've been lucky because a LOT of things have happened to me. I have not lived the life of a spectator."

"Hopefully this isn't the last New York's cabaret stages have seen of Stephen Mosher." - Bart Greenberg, Cabaret Scenes

"To say Stephen Mosher is multi-talented is a gross understatement. His skills vary from photographer extraordinaire to profound essaying, to physical trainer, and now CABARET! And boy oh boy, does he excel in this as well. I loved it!!!" -- Anita Gillette
