Cody Wood Returns With THIS SONG'S FOR YOU
Los Angeles based singer, songwriter, and musician, Cody Wood will present his one man cabaret concert, "This Songs For You" on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2 pm at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert.
Cody Wood's love of music began at age 4 when he started taking violin lessons in Santa Fe. As a teenager living in Phoenix, he discovered the Great American Songbook and has been crooning like Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé ever since. At college in Cleveland, he formed a band and, as lead singer, performed at local bars and music venues. Since moving to Los Angeles, he performs regularly at clubs like The Roxy and The Key Club. A gifted violinist, he's played for studio recordings for numerous film scores as well as live concerts. Joining him for this show is desert local Alex Danson on piano and Nick Perez on guitar.
Tickets for the 2 pm show will be sold at the door, open at 1 pm, for $15 cash only. The Arthur Newman Theater is located in the Joslyn Center at 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert.
