Andy Warhol said everyone would have their 15 minutes of fame. Barbara's had a bit more!

You've seen Barbara Minkus --a lot: on stage, on screen, in clubs and especially on television. Other than the fact that she never became famous, she's had what most performers would consider an enviable career. Because she started out as, and remains, an accomplished singer, her show business memoir is a musical one.

Director Susan Morgenstern describes the show as: "an intimate journey featuring a variety of show-stopping songs, both familiar and rare, with stories on how they touched Barbara's life. This one-woman 75-minute multi-media musical (with Ron Barnett on piano) incorporates films, graphics, recordings, and photos about Barbara's search for fame and finding more meaningful things in life instead. If you like show business stories with great musical numbers and insider anecdotes about the giants of the biz, then 18 Minutes of Fame is for you."
