Minecraft Creator Markus Persson Set for CBS's CRAIG FERGUSON, 11/7

Markus Persson, the creator of Minecraft, one of the most popular video games in the world, will make his first talk show appearance ever on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Thursday, Nov. 7 (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Markus Persson is a Swedish video game programmer and designer who gained global popularity for creating Minecraft, a first-person sandbox video game that has sold in excess of 30 million copies across all platforms. Persson is also the founder of the video game company Mojang. He is known to his worldwide fan base by his internet handle "Notch."

Actress Kat Dennings from the CBS comedy series 2 Broke Girls will also visit THE LATE LATE SHOW on Nov. 7.

THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON regularly airs weeknights (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) following broadcasts of the "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS. THE LATE LATE SHOW is executive produced by Peter Lassally and is a 2009 Peabody Award recipient
