Meat Loaf, who is currently a judge on the UK show Popstar to Operastar, starred as Eddie in the 1975 film and later on Broadway. With regards to a potential reprisal of the "ex-delivery-boy-turned-zombie," Meat Loaf told the Press Assocition, "No, Eddie's dead and gone."

Despite having no plans to bring Eddie back to life on the big screen, Meat Loaf has high hopes for the potential sequel. He told the Press Association, "I think Richard O'Brien is really talented and if anybody can do it, Richard can."

Meat Loaf also joked about the stigma attached to making sequels to classic films, telling the Press Association,"Hey, they made Jaws 4 didn't they? What's wrong with Rocky Horror 2?"

Meat Loaf has appeared in the movies The Rocky Horror Picture Show (as Eddie); Roadie; Fight Club; Wayne's World; Out of Bounds; The Squeeze; and Leap of Faith, among a total of nearly 60 television and film roles. At the outset of his performing career, he also appeared onstage in Hair in Los Angeles, Detroit and on Broadway.

Before it was one of the most popular cult films of all time, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW was a stage musical called THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. Brad Majors and Janet Weiss seek help from a seemingly harmless secluded house in the woods after their car breaks down late one night. They soon descend into a seductive, surreal adventure, driven by Dr. Frank N. Furter and his obsession with a bizarre, Frankenstein-esque experiment.
