Explore Georgia Launches Georgia Trip Planner App

Georgia Tourism, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, is excited to announce the launch of a new, interactive app on Facebook, the Georgia Trip Planner. Explore Georgia Facebook fans will be able to select a series of photos that will intuitively help them plan the perfect Georgia trip. They will then receive a Georgia trip itinerary based on their selections. Itineraries range from a fun-filled day enjoying Atlanta's world-class attractions, to a relaxing beach vacation with a hint of history in Jekyll Island. After receiving a suggested itinerary, fans can then enter to win one of three amazing Georgia prize packages. The three prize packages include:

JEKYLL ISLAND GETAWAY

• A four night stay for two people at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel
• A VIP Pass for Jekyll Island
• A trip for two on the Lady Jane Shrimp Boat
• Two round trip Delta Air Lines tickets
• Dining Certificates

SAVANNAH STROLL

• A two-night stay for two people at the Azalea Inn and Gardens
• A VIP Pass for Savannah, Georgia
• Dining certificates

NORTH GEORGIA VACATION

• A two-night stay in a four bedroom, mountain home located inside the Curahee Club's private community in Toccoa, Georgia
• Two round of golf for four people
• A gift certificate to Lake Lanier Canopy Tours
• Dining certificates

Fans can enter for a chance to win between October 3, 2013 and October 31, 2013. One bonus entry is awarded per fan for sharing the sweepstakes with Facebook friends. Fans can register to win through Explore Georgia's Facebook page, facebook.com/exploregeorgia.

The Georgia Trip Planner is in partnership with Delta Air Lines, providing flight accommodations for one selected winner, and Brand USA, encouraging travellers from all over the world to visit the United States of America.
