The Metropolitan Opera Cancels Monday Evening's Performance of LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, 10/29

The Monday evening, October 29, performance of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro ("The Marriage of Figaro") at the Metropolitan Opera is cancelled due to the suspension of public transportation by authorities in preparation of the incoming storm.

Tickets may be exchanged for any available performance in the 2012-13 season or may be refunded. While the Met will be closed all day on Monday, ticket exchanges or refunds can be made by mail, Email, phone, or in person at the box office when the company reopens for business.

Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For ticket exchanges and information by phone, call 212-362-6000.

Monday evening's broadcast on the Met on SiriusXM, Channel 74, will be a repeat of last Friday evening's live broadcast of Le Nozze di Figaro, conducted by David Robertson, with Maija Kovalevska, Mojca Erdmann, Christine Schäfer, Gerald Finley, and Ildar Abdrazakov in leading roles.
