The Chelsea Opera to Present THE TENDER LAND, 6/13-14

The Chelsea Opera will present The Tender Land by Aaron Copland Friday, June 13, 2014 at 7:00pm and Saturday, June 14 at 4:00pm. The performance will feature the Chelsea Opera Chamber Orchestra. Both performances will take place at St. Peter's Church in Chelsea (346 West 20th Street (between 8th & 9th Avenues)).

The cast of The Tender Land features Joanie Brittingham (Laurie), Leonarda Priore (Ma Moss), Evelyn Carr/Kimmy Norrell (Beth), Chad Kranak (Martin), Peter Kendall Clark (Top), and Steven Fredericks (Grandpa Moss).

The production staff features Samuel McCoy (Music Director/Principal Conductor), Lynne Hayden-Findlay (stage director/costume design), Sheryl Liu (set design), Michael Megliola (lighting design), and Leonarda Priore (set decoration and properties design).
