Pinchgut Opera Presents a Limited-Ticket Raffle

This year for our fundraising efforts, we've arranged a very special raffle prize: Return flights for two people to New York City, plus six nights' accommodation and tickets to see and hear the Metropolitan Opera. We can't yet reveal what the opera will be, but we promise it's something you'll love. And as it happens, our very own Co-Artistic Director Antony Walker will be in town, and he's promised to take you both to a very special New York lunch.

There are only 200 tickets in this exclusive raffle. Each ticket is $200, and every dollar of that amount goes directly to supporting our production of Gluck's Iphigénie.

Because we know that for so many of you, supporting Pinchgut is only about the music, we've arranged a very special recital for everyone who purchases a ticket in our 2015 fundraiser raffle. And you can bring a friend!

Everyone's a winner with the chance to attend a sumptuous recital by Co-Artistic Director Erin Helyard and soprano Celeste Lazarenko. Many of you will have seen Erin in action for our productions of Griselda,Giasone and The Chimney Sweep, directing from the keyboard; you'll know just how engaging a performer he is! What you may not know is that he's also incredibly erudite and interesting when it comes to talking about the music he performs. And of course you know Celeste from her devilish star-turn as Medea in Giasone last year.

It's a guaranteed delight to hear them both in recital!

The recital will take place on Wed 17 Dec at the Sydney Philharmonia space down by Sydney Harbour on Hickson Road. Please join us for a water-side drink after the performance as we toast you - all of our wonderful Pinchgut supporters.
