Opera Immediat Presents LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR This Weekend

Opéra Immédiat presents Gaetano Donizetti's tragic opera Lucia di Lammermoor (1839) Opéra Immédiat was founded in 2009 by Sophie De Cruz, soprano and conductor. Together with a dynamic team of fellow classical music professionals, she has successfully set out to put on one opera per year.

In 2014, Opéra Immédiat presents Lucia di Lamermoor, a tragic opera set in the Lammermoor Hills of Scotland (Lammermoor) in the 17th century. The story unravels around an emotionally fragile Lucy Ashton (Lucia), who is caught in a feud between her own family and that of the Ravenswoods.
