Metropolitan Opera Announces Cast Change Advisory for LA TRAVIATA in Jan.

Matthew Polenzani will sing the role of Alfredo in La Traviata for all performances this season. For the January 19, 22, 26 and 29 performances, La Traviata, who has withdrawn due to illness.
La Traviata, conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, will open in a gala New Year's eve performance on December 31 in a new production directed by Willy Decker, also starring Marina Poplavskaya as Violetta and Andrzej Dobber as Germont.
