The Merola Opera Program in San Francisco invites currently enrolled students to experience the exciting world of opera and classical music this summer with our free Merola Student ConneXion Program.

Up to 50 Bay Area currently enrolled students - junior high through college - will be selected to receive a free pass (for themselves and a friend) to attend Merola Summer Festival performances, observe vocal master classes, and special events this June, July, and August in San Francisco. There is no artistic training or classes provided in this program.

The Merola Opera Program is widely regarded as the foremost opera training program in the world for aspiring singers, coach accompanists, and stage directors.

As the affiliated training program of the San Francisco Opera, Merola has served as a proving ground for hundreds of artists, including such renowned performers as Anna Netrebko, Patricia Racette, Leona Mitchell, Deborah Voigt, Joyce DiDonato, Susan Graham, Rolando Villazón, Ruth Ann Swenson and Thomas Hampson among many others.
