Gustavo Hernandez and Bernard C. Bayer to Perform 'Musical Salon' at Center Stage Opera

Tenor Gustavo Hernandez and pianist Bernard C. Bayer perform exquisite arias and art songs of Vincenzo Bellini, and Frederic Chopin's magnificent Ballades #1, #3 and #4, in an intimate "Musical Salon" setting.


Mr. Hernandez has appeared at Disney Hall, singing with a number of symphony orchestras, and sang the leading role of Don Jose in Center Stage Opera's production of Bizet's "Carmen". He also recently sang with Los Angeles Opera in "An Evening of Zarzuela".


Mr. Bayer has performed as a soloist with Bratislava Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony and The Fairbanks Philharmonic among others. He is featured on a number of film scores including A Girl Like Me and The Visitor, and appeared with celebrity guest singers on Britain's hit show Pop Stars to Opera Stars. Mr. Bernard has won many competitions, including the La Jolla Symphony Young Artists Competition, VOCE State Finals, Yamaha Piano Competition, MTAC Concerto Competition and the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students.
