Jazz vocal sensation Jackie Ryan will play a CD release show at Birdland, running today, July 2-4, 2013 and featuring special guests: Harry Allen - Tenor Sax, Xavier Davis - piano, Matt Rybicki - bass, and Will Terrill - drums.
Jazz vocalist Jackie Ryan has thrilled audiences across the globe with her powerful 3 ½ octave range and her warm, audience-friendly stage presence. She has a style that is uniquely her own.
Jackie's shows include songs from gospel and blues to Brazilian bossa novas. From Latin to bebop, from vocalese to the most heartfelt ballads. Jackie's new CD, LISTEN HERE, featuring John & Gerald Clayton and a cast of top young sidemen, came out earlier this year, spending multiple weeks atop the JAZZWEEK radio chart.Birdland Jazz Club is located at 315 W. 44th St., New York.
