2010 UK Radio Station to Feature GLEE Recording

The kids of "Glee" are the focus for a new UK radio station, New York Post reports. The station has bypassed all standard radio fare in favor of the 'New Directions' cast recordings of popular songs like "Don't Stop Believin'," and "Sweet Caroline."

The show 'Glee' follows a group of students at William McKinley, a fictional high school in Lima, Ohio. Under the direction of a young teacher, the students form a show choir (glee club) which begins somewhat unsuccessfully but gains momentum as the series continues.

The 178 songs that the cast has recorded so far will be played in rotation, giving the Oxford radio station more variety than some of the mainstream pop stations in the US. Fans of the show will be able to listen to a constant mix of the show's renditions of musical hits, including selections from Broadway as well as a wide range of genres including classic rock, pop and hip-hop.

All of the songs are performed by 'Glee' cast members including Lea Michelle, Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith and Jenna Ushkowitz. The show has also featured other Broadway notables like Kristen Chenoweth and Jonathan Groff.
