Washington Nationals Racing Presidents Perform in Washington Ballet's THE NUTCRACKER Tonight

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Washington Ballet is pleased to announce a special performance of Septime Webre's The Nutcracker tonight, December 17 at 7PM, featuring the Washington Nationals Racing Presidents. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft will take the stage during Act II to perform Frontiersman, choreographed by The Washington Ballet's Artistic Director, Septime Webre.

The Presidents made their Nutcracker debut with The Washington Ballet in 2010. Since then, they've made a special guest appearance every year, performing for one night only.

Webre's patriotic version of The Nutcracker also includes celebrity cameos during the Act 1 Party Scene throughout the ballet's performance run at Warner Theatre. Special guests for each show are announced from the stage before the performance begins.

The Nutcracker will be performed at the historic Warner Theatre December 3-27 and at THEARC Theater in Southeast DC November 28-29.
