The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Dance presents Summerdances, featuring STEPHAN KOPLOWITZ: WATER SIGHT, MILWAUKEE today, June 13, 14, 15, 2013. World Premiere!

Stephan Koplowitz, internationally-known award-winning director/choreographer, will premiere two large-scale site-specific performance works inspired by the architecture and ecology of water found in the Cudahy Gardens of the Milwaukee Art Museum and the historic North Point Water Tower.

With a cast of 30 UWM dancers, original music by Tim Russell, digital projections by Luc Vanier with performances of Bel Canto Chorus, Koplowitz and Company will animate these two icons of Milwaukee with movement, light and sound.

Partner institutions include Milwaukee Art Museum, Bel Canto Chorus, UWM Department of Dance and UWM School of Freshwater Science. Special thanks to the City of Milwaukee, Columbia St. Mary's and The Clock Tower Building and Parking Garage for their contributions.
