Being on the road always has its challenges, regardless if you are a dancer touring with the hottest new show or enjoying a much needed vacation. Locating a studio in a new city with the perfect dance class to suit your schedule used to be a tedious chore, but with the release of the On Point Dance app from the Jeffrey Nunez Company, LIA Ventures, Inc., finding your next dance class is just a click away.

Nunez, a graduate of the Penn State Musical Theatre program, had little dance experience before attending college, but his love for music started much earlier in life. Growing up on Long Island, Jeffrey was a member of the high school choir and performed in his first musical, Oh What a Beautiful Evening in the 10th grade. The musical, a combination of Rodgers and Hart tunes in the first act and Rodgers and Hammerstein songs fin the second act, gave Nunez the opportunity to sing two duets, a chance he clearly relished. Having previously considered being a pilot or working with computers, Nunez made the decision to pursue theatre in his senior year of high school. Upon arriving at Penn State, Jeffrey dove head-first into dance classes ranging from ballet to hip hop, along with private voice lessons and acting. And from this a triple-threat with a business savvy mind definitely emerged.

While touring with In the Heights a friend of Jeffrey presented the conundrum of finding dance classes to attend in unfamiliar cities. Firmly believing that "Life Is Art," Jeffrey created LIA Ventures, Inc. as a "new age arts Production Company." With Jeffrey leading a team of developers the app, On Point, began to take shape, making its first appearance in July 2012. Basing the design of the app on his company's logo, Jeffrey steered it through several revisions and into an easy-to-use system that will benefit dancers of all levels.

From Steps on Broadway in New York City to Soulfire Dance Studio in Las Vegas, On Point connects you with the current daily schedule for the studio of your choice. Currently offering a large selection of the top-tier dance studios in 16 cities, this fabulous app continues to grow and include more studios and cities with each upgrade. Gone are the days of searching for a studio and the often difficult-to-find schedule on their website; in a few easy steps, On Point gets you exactly where you need to be.

Beginning with the city of your choice, the On Point app provides an extensive list of studios and dance schools. Upon selecting the studio of your choice you are immediately provided with the contact information; and from there you are a quick click away from choosing your next dance class. On Point feeds directly in to the precise schedule page of each studio's website, providing you with accurate and up-to-date scheduling to ensure that you never have to worry about finding or missing a class again. In addition to the easy to find schedules and studio information, On Point also has a wonderful scheduling feature allowing dancers to keep track of their favorite classes. Simply fill in the class, instructor, day and time information, and On Point serves as your dance calendar.

Jeffrey firmly believes that On Point is his first step in the creation of what will undoubtedly be an empire of theatre-based endeavors to make life easier for dancers everywhere. For ease of use and the comprehensive selection of studios, On Point is a wonderful tool to keep dancers in focus and on point, both on the road and at home.

On Point is available now in the iTunes store for iPhone, iPad and iTouch. Please visit the website at www.onpointdance.com and the Face book page at www.facebook.com/onpointdanceapp today!
