Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Albany Wins at Metropolitan Dancesport Championships

Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Albany brought their "Top Studio" Trophy they won in 2014 to Atlantic City, NJ, prepared to turn it over to whoever would win the award in 2015.

As it turned out, they could have just left it back in New York.

For the second consecutive year, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Albany was named the top dance studio at the Metropolitan Dancesport Championships in Atlantic City on March 14th. The regional competition pits dozens of Fred Astaire Dance Studios in the Tri-State Area against each other in a weekend of ballroom dancing at its finest.

"We are thrilled to return to Albany as victors once again," Fred Astaire Dance Studio owner Sasha Spitchka said. "We are so grateful for the terrific instructors and students that have played a role in our success."
