Colorado Ballet to Present AN EVENING UNDER THE STARS, 8/22
DENVER - Colorado Ballet will perform a collection of works at An Evening under the Stars at 7:30 p.m. on August 22, 2015 at the Arvada Center Outdoor Amphitheater, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003.
An Evening under the Stars will featuring excerpts from upcoming and past productions as well as other classical and contemporary works. The performance will include the contemporary ballet In Pieces by choreographer Val Caniparoli, which made its world premiere with Colorado Ballet in 2013. Featuring dramatic lighting and costumes, the ballet is set to Poul Ruders' musical composition Concerto in Pieces.

Colorado Ballet opens its 55th season with three performances at the Vail International Dance Festival on August 2, 9 and 10. The season also includes La Sylphide October 2-11, 2015, The Nutcracker November 28-December 27, 2015, Alice (in Wonderland) February 19-28, 2016, Ballet Director's Choice March 25-27, 2016, and an encore of Ballet Director's Choice on April 1, 2016.
