American Repertory Ballet's On Pointe series, a free lecture-demonstration series, will open at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. This special "Meet the Dancers!" On Pointe will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the theater at the Bart Luedeke Center.

The "Meet the Dancers!" On Pointe is a special opportunity for local audiences to meet the dancers, Artistic Director Douglas Martin and Resident Choreographer Mary Barton personally in a casual setting.

After the On Pointe, on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24, American Repertory Ballet will present A Midsummer Night's Dream, also at the Bart Luedeke Center at Rider University.

Rider University dance students take courses for credit at ARB's Princeton Ballet School throughout the year, and ARB's annual residency on campus affords the students additional master classes, unique insights into the workings of a professional ballet company and the opportunity to watch the company perform, without having to leave the campus.

The "Meet the Dancers!" On Pointe event is part of this continuing partnership with the Rider University dance, and it is also free and open to the public beyond the campus gates.
