Vermont Symphony Orchestra to Hold Auditions for Section Violin, 10/23
Jaime Laredo, VSO Music Director, announces one opening for section violin next season (starting in late fall 2015). The audition will take place at the Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont on Friday, October 23.
The VSO is a fully professional, part-time orchestra. Musicians with professional orchestral experience should send resumes to Eleanor Long, Personnel Manager, at the VSO office (2 Church Street, Suite 3B, Burlington, VT 05401-4457) or via email (eleanor@vso.org) to be sent the excerpt list and other details. The deadline for accepting resumes is September 11. Applicants will be notified shortly thereafter if they are invited to take the audition. All auditionees should be prepared to demonstrate either U.S. citizenship or legal eligibility to accept employment.
