Utah Symphony Performs 'Jurassic Park' In Concert Live At USANA Amphitheatre

The "Jurassic Park" performance is sponsored by Zions Bank and builds upon an overwhelming audience appetite for film screenings in coupled with live orchestra playing the score, a series the Utah Symphony launched two seasons ago. The orchestra's 2018-19 main season features the Zions Bank Films in Concert series: five orchestra presentations paired with blockbuster and award-winning motion pictures on the big screen at Abravanel Hall.

"Ghostbusters," the 1980s cult classic about a team of Columbia University scientists who wage a high-tech battle against the supernatural, will kick off the opening of the Films in Concert series on November 2 and 3; "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban In Concert," the third Harry Potter film in the series, will be presented on November 29, 30 and December 1; Academy Award winner for Best Picture, "Casablanca," will follow on March 1 and 2; the adventures of Luke Skywalker and John Williams' epic score will hit the screen with "Star Wars: A New Hope" on May 9, 11 and 13; and the fourth Harry Potter film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire In Concert," will conclude the Films in Concert series next June 20, 21 and 22.
