Enjoy a rich musical evening to delight with Turning Point Ensemble's exceptional musicians in Carnival, tonight, March 13th & Saturday, March 14th at 8pm at SFU's Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, 149 W. Hastings St.

It is a rich and lively program spanning over a century including the artistry of TPE cellist Ariel Barnes in a solo performance of Ana Sokolovic' cello solo "Vez" as well as a performance of Paul Hindemith's brilliant Kammermusik Nr. 3 for solo cello and ten instruments, a premiere of Luft Suite from Vancouver's Jocelyn Morlock, and a chamber arrangement of Saint-Saën's timeless Carnival of the Animals.

The evening includes French composer Saint-Saëns' playful Carnival of the Animals, with Ogden Nash's set of humorous verses that accompany each movement narrated by the classical musician, George Zukerman. The iconic work Debussy's Prelude for the Afternoon of a Faun rounds out the program.

Prices - Adult $38, Senior $35, Student $12
