Musical sensation Steve Lippia will join the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra to honor the 100th birthday of Frank Sinatra in two amazing concerts on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 25 at 2:30 PM! The performances are filled with fan-favorites, including "Come Fly with Me," "Luck Be a Lady," and "New York, New York."

Steve Lippia is known for exploring the pop music legacy of the greats from Nat King Cole to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Bobby Darin. Lippia prides himself in his talent as a performer and for having the opportunity to introduce a new generation to the Great American Songbook. He has performed across the country to sold-out Symphony audiences including New York, St. Louis, and Philadelphia. He has headlined engagements in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, where audiences lined up hours in advance to vie for seating.

"Lippia is the real deal," says Hothouse Jazz Nightlife Guide. The Courier Post proclaims, "Nature has blessed Steve Lippia with a set of pipes that conjure an astounding approximation of Frank Sinatra's voice."

On Saturday evening starting at 6:45 PM, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra invites audience members to a swing dance demonstration with DANCE Ballroom & Studio in the lobby of the Washington Pavilion. Participation is highly encouraged.

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra will be performing Steve Lippia's Swingin' Centennial with Sinatra and Friends Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 25 at 2:30 PM at the Washington Pavilion. Tickets can be purchased online at sdsymphony.org or by calling the Washington Pavilion box office at (605) 367 - 6000.
