Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert Returns to Lincoln Center on New Year's Day

Salute to Vienna returns for the 19th year to the Lincoln Center this New Year's Day at 2:30 p.m., featuring the Philly POPS Orchestra as the Strauss Symphony of America, conducted by Hungarian conductor András Deák.

A star-studded European cast will usher in the New Year with an entertaining, easy-to-listen-to concert of lilting Strauss waltzes - including the Blue Danube Waltz and operetta favorites from Die Fledermaus and The Merry Widow. Viennese soprano Sera Gösch, fresh from her run at the Vienna Volksoper, and Viennese tenor Michael Heim, will perform alongside members of the exquisite Kiev-Aniko Ballet of Ukraine and International Champion Ballroom Dancers.
An enchanting way to celebrate the New Year with the entire family.
