Rosa Antonelli to Return to Carnegie Hall, 10/22

The League of United Latin American Citizens Council (LULAC) and Albany Records will present Argentinian pianist Rosa Antonelli in her return to Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 8:00 p.m. Ms. Antonelli, a champion of Latin-American and Spanish music, will perform works by Albéniz, Piazzolla, Ginastera, Ponce, Villa-Lobos and others, including the New York premieres of Isaac Albéniz' Champagne Waltz, and Louis Gianneo's Tres Danzas Argentinas. Proceeds from the evening will benefit LULAC's education programs and scholarship funds.

LULAC is a Civic League, Social Welfare Organization, devoted to advancing the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic Americans through community-based programs.

LULAC's Queens Council serves as a prominent platform for the Latino arts community, providing many types of support. Rosa Antonelli's concert is a unification of this work, showcasing the artistry of a Latin American virtuoso in Latin American repertory.
