National Youth Orchestra of Wales Celebrates 70 Years With Concert, August 5

This year the first national youth orchestra in the world celebrates 70 years of first class music-making. To celebrate this milestone, Grant Llewellyn conducts a professional orchestra of esteemed NYOW Alumni representing some of the UK's finest orchestral musicians. The final concert takes place at St. David's Hall on Friday, August 5.

Carlo Rizzi will conduct, and they will also present a piece called 'A Fanfare of Our Youth' by NYOW alumnus Gareth Wood.

Tickets to see the NYOW at 7.30pm cost £15.

Reductions of £2 off each ticket for Friends of St David's Hall, over-60s, claimants and disabled people (plus one companion).

Tickets for under 25s are priced £5.

Tickets for NYOW Young Composers at 1pm are priced £5 and half-price tickets when booked with the NYOW evening performance.
