The New York Arts and Sciences Salon has announced pianist Michael Fennelly, Soprano Megan Weston and Tenor Ian McUen will join composer Patrick Soluri in concert this Thursday April 30. The concert, which takes place at the newly renovated Beethoven Piano Concert Space, showcases the composer's love of storytelling through music in works of opera, ballet and film/television scoring. Concert highlights will include an aria from Mr. Soluri's dramatic one-act opera EMBEDDED, which Fort Worth Opera has just announced to be part of their 2016 season, and his 10 minute comic opera FIGARO & THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.

Pianist Michael Fennelly has performed in many of the world's great concert halls. Michael Fennelly's recitals have been broadcast on WQXR (New York City) and NDR Radio (Germany). His recordings include The Legend of Faust: Part One and Debut; currently he is recording Grand Tour in New York City. A versatile and remarkable musician he has recently played the Beethoven Choral Fantasy and Mozart's two piano concerto K.365 with the Saddleback Master Chorale, performed with the Talich Quartet in the Shostakovich Piano Quintet, Op.57, and conducted Lucia di Lammermoor in concert at Carnegie Hall

Soprano Megan Weston is an artist of "remarkable virtuosity and charm," according to the Financial Times. She excels in the standard repertoire of Mozart, Donizetti and Bach, and is equally successful in more modern works. Megan first gained international attention as Lisa in LA SONNAMBULA at the Caramoor International Music Festival. She has performed for the Metropolitan Opera Guild at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Symphony Space,. Megan began her professional career in the television and film industry - her songs and voice have been featured prominently in feature films, national commercials, and network television shows. www.meganweston.com

Tenor Ian McUen sang the role of Goro in Madadame Butterfly as a Young Artist at the Glimmerglass Festival. In the 2014/15 season, Ian joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera, covering St. Brioche in a new production of The Merry Widow directed by Susan Stroman. This April, Ian made his Carnegie Hall debut as the Tenor Soloist in Mozart's Solemn Vespers with Manhattan Concert Productions.

The New York Arts and Sciences Salon holds events on the last Thursday of each month in unique venues throughout New York City and is pleased to be among the first organizations presenting in the Beethoven Piano Concert Space, located in an historic venue which has included Renée Flemming, Simone Dinnerstein, Jonathan Biss, Richard Goode in performance.
