The annual free concert by the talented staff of Point Counterpoint, the classical music school on Lake Dunmore, is always an exciting event. Once again internationally known pianist Diana Fanning is a featured performer.

The free concert takes place on Monday, July 28, at 7:30 pm at Middlebury's Town Hall Theater.

Fanning will play Beethoven's Trio Op. 11. Arun Nadgir will be the pianist for Schubert's Trout Quintet.

Known officially as the Constance Holden Memorial Concert, the annual event was created in memory of long-time West Salisbury summer resident, Constance "Tancy" Holden, who died in a bicycling accident in Washington, D.C. Holden, an accomplished artist, loved the Point CounterPoint concerts, and her family underwrites this concert as a way of celebrating her life in Vermont.

This evening of exquisite chamber music is scheduled for Monday, July 28. The concert is free, and goodwill donations are encouraged. The house opens at 7:00 pm for the 7:30 pm concert.
