On Tuesday, April 9, WQXR will present the latest installment of "Classical Up Close," a performance and conversation series featuring some of the world's best and brightest stars of classical music.

Hosted by WQXR's Creative Director, Clemency Burton-Hill, the evening will feature acclaimed pianist Lang Lang. Hailed as the "hottest artist on the classical music planet" (The New York Times), Lang Lang will perform selections from his much-anticipated new solo album 'Piano Book,' a collection of the pieces that first inspired him to play the piano. He'll also discuss the ambitious education projects he is overseeing through his Foundation, and the personal journey that has brought him this far.

Tickets are $45 - 100, available at thegreenespace.org
