The Butterfly Club Welcomes Sophie Walsh-Harrington, Anne Edmonds

This month, regulars at The Butterfly Club see plenty familiar faces at the Green Room Awards and Adelaide Fringe Festival Awards:

In Adelaide, Sophie Walsh-Harrington receives the top accolade for Cabaret with her show The Damsel In Shining Armour. Fellow Club acts Lila Gray (Emma Clair Ford) and Partners In Crime (Brigitte Baden- Rennie) feature as nominees. Anne Edmonds also receives a nomination in Comedy-Emerging with show Ever Since the Dawn of Anne.

In Melbourne, the Green Room Awards next Monday 21st March see Mrs Bang: a Series of Seductions in 55 Minutes nominated for Best Cabaret Production, joined by former Butterfly Club performers Yana Alana and the Paranas (also up for Artiste, Ensemble, Original Song) and Geraldine Quinn (also as Artiste and Original Song). Other familiar faces at the Green Room Awards include Mike McLeish (Artiste), The Beautiful Losers (Ensemble), and Karin Muiznieks (Original Song).
