MixEd Salad Productions is auditioning local actors to appear in the SA Premiere of ‘Out In The Open'. Auditions will be held on March 6 at 10AM.

It's a funny and poignant play by Jonathan Harvey, the creator of gay classic's 'Beautiful Thing', 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!' and ‘Beautiful People' as seen recently on ABCTV.

A dynamic cast is required for this contemporary comedy to be directed by Dave Simms during the Feast Festival in November 2010.

Tony needs to move on with his life after the death of his boyfriend Frankie six months ago. But when he brings home a cute young man, Frankie's mum and best friends can't cope. And over one long weekend, with the drugs and booze flowing, it isn't long before everyone's secrets and lies are dragged out in the open.

Auditions will be held on Saturday 6 of March at 10 am and 12 noon at Level 1, 24 Crittenden Road, Findon.

The auditions do not require a prepared piece, but will be a group workshop to see how potential cast members interact and fit well together.

'Out in the Open' will preview on November 23 and 24 at the Star Theatre, 145 Sid Donald Bradman DR. Hilton.

If you're interested in working in a superb ensemble piece with terrific roles, you MUST book an audition time by calling 0439 533 173.
