Hill Country Community Theatre to Stage SEUSSICAL, 7/16-26

By:

"Seussical", with music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, book by Ahrens & Flaherty, co-conceived by Ahrens, Flaherty & Eric Idle, based on the works of Dr. Seuss, will run July 16 through July 26, 2015 at Hill Country Community Theatre. Directed by Wendy Ferrell with vocal direction by Deborah Vanicek and choreography by Virginia Shoemake.

The only thing more fun than reading a Dr. Seuss book is seeing a magical musical extravaganza live, onstage with all the favorite Dr. Seuss characters! The Cat in the Hat is the host and Horton the Elephant is the guide on a journey from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the World of the Whos, as a child with a big imagination proves that a person is a person no matter how small.

Performances play Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM. Sunday matinees at 2:15 PM. Admission is $25 for adults and $12 for children and students with a valid ID. Reservations can be made by calling (830) 798-8944, online at www.thehcct.org, or at the box office (12:00 noon to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday) beginning July 6 for HCCT members and July 9 for the general public. The Hill Country Community Theatre is located at 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657.
